Here are my poems

What I want is
Enough courage

To do what I want
What I want is

To write 20 songs
And then some

And another
With a chorus

And verses
with melodic chords

Pounding drums with
Arpegiated sweeps

In the background
And the concerts

With all of my friends
And all of my band

As we mic check
The instruments

My guitar
Chris's drums

My life
Mic Check 1, Mic Check 2

My Messy Room Poem

Whosever room this is should be psychiatrically evaluated!
Her clothes are covering the whole floor.
Her bed is completely unmade;
Her covers and sheets are blocking the door.

Her closet is reaching critical mass.
Her dirty laundry is consuming the ground.
It smells of last week’s soccer practice and Tuesday’s volleyball game.
I wouldn’t be surprised if something crawled out of that mound!

Her desk is engulfed with long since due research papers.
Her carpet is no exception, for it is plastered with stains.
The windows are splattered with the guts any bug that dares to fly on it.
The guts range from wings, legs, and brains!

The girl, however, who owns this room,
Is someone who’s simple and beaming,
But she cant be happy right now with her dirty room
Because her mother wont stop screaming!

A Ross began to drink
Beside the small farm pond
He swiftly slurped the H20
The left quickly to bond

He found another Ross
It was first love at sight
They made a bed of hay and straw
And slept throughout the night

Metaphor Poem
The army dispurses
like an airborn disease.

They attack
unknowing village people
into their bodies
and leaving no traces of life.

Atlantic Fight Song
Atlantic, you're a pretty good town. Atlantic, your not that bad of town.
With lots of fun stores and lots of places to be,
the people are all driving around. BEEP BEEP!
So take a visit to this great town. The people will never let you down
Our town always has stuff to do
so you should stop by and pay a visit to Atlantic.
A-T-L-A-N-T-I-C Atlantic!

Warm up #20.
My weekend wasn't bland
T'was packed with lots of fun
I had band practice on sunday
And skated in the sun.

Practice is done for now
I then left in my car
I picked up Taylor on my way
But we did not go far.

My version of "The Crossing" Poem
As I enter the class
I cringe; the glassy, glowing eyes are locked on their target: me.

I think to myself how quickly the class will go by
but time only slows down as I stare at the frozen clock.

No need to worry. Clay is here.
and so is Ross and Alicyn.

We have all done our hardest in the class
not through homework, but in making Ms. Runyan mad

It never seemed to fail. WE did our horrible job so well,
and we would devise a plan everyday

Simply the raise of a hand made her irate.
All because of me.

I was surprisingly proud of my work.
And started looking forward to english

Little did Ii know that the joke was on me.
I was beginning to like english class!
